I thought it would be fun to start the week off with a card that shows off tons of new products that will be available in the upcoming 2014-2015 Annual Catalog. The Designer Series Paper you see here (twice!) is from the Moonlight DSP stack. I'm really excited that the paper stacks are going to be in the catalog. I've loved them since they were introduced in last year's holiday catalog. It's such an inexpensive way to get a sampling of new Designer Series Papers. Oh, and see those little flowers? I just punched them out from a scrap of DSP that I had trimmed off.
This card also shows off two of the new In Colors, Hello Honey and Lost Lagoon. I love these two colors together! I used my Lost Lagoon marker to color some old satin and taffeta ribbons. It was so easy to get the color I wanted.
And I know I've mentioned it before, but I am SO HAPPY that the Tag Topper Punches will be carried over to the annual catalog! This tag features three stamps from the new set, Work of Art. The "thank" and the "you" are actually two different stamps, which is nice, because you can place them however you want. There's also another stamp that says "just for" that matches the "thank" stamp. There are also tons of different brush stroke images. It's a very fun set!

Betsy's Blossoms Bookmark
I've been a creative rut lately, so I thought that making something other than a card might help the creative juices flow a little better. I'm not sure it worked, but it is fun to have something different to show!
I decided to make this tag that can double as a bookmark. I may stick this in a card for someone, or I might even tuck it into the next book I loan out. That would be a fun surprise for the reader!
Tips & Tricks
Supplies
Stamps: Betsy's Blooms, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Ink: VersaMark, Chocolate Chip, and Pacific Point
Paper: Crushed Curry, Very Vanilla, Old Olive, Chocolate Chip, and Pacific Point card stock, International Bazaar DSP (retired)
Accessories: Very Vanilla Seam Binding Ribbon, Big Shot, Bitty Banners Framelits, Scallop Tag Topper Punch, Tangerine Tango ribbon (retired)

Tips & Tricks
- If you're new to Stampin' Up!, you might be overwhelmed by all the gorgeous colors there are to choose from. And you might not quite know where to start when it comes to building your ink collection. If your budget is limited and you can't get them all in one shot, I highly recommend picking a few that you love, and adding in the VersaMark ink. I used it here on the Pacific Point tag. This ink gives a tone-on-tone look, and can also be used for embossing. It's a very versatile ink (hence the name) and it's one that every stamper needs to have!
- I've been trying to use up my many, many scraps of paper, and this project lends itself perfectly to that mission. I ONLY used scraps on this project, and it could be made using any Designer Series Paper and coordinating card stock or ribbon.

Scallop Tag Topper Punch Treat Holder
I'm not sure about you, but I hadn't really realized how close Easter was. Which is pretty pathetic, considering how late it is this year. So even though my Easter decorations are still in my attic, I thought it would be fun to make a little Easter project. This is a treat holder that is perfect to give as a gift, and would be easy to make multiples of.
Tips & Tricks
Supplies
Stamps: Betsy's Blossoms, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Ink: Strawberry Slush, Coastal Cabana, and Crushed Curry
Paper: Strawberry Slush and Whisper White card stock
Accessories: 1 1/4", 1", and 3/4" Circle Punches, Coastal Cabana Ruffled Trim, Scallop Tag Topper Punch, Whisper White Baker's Twine
Tips & Tricks
- I love the new Tag Topper Punches, because they are so easy to use. I just cut a 2" strip of card stock along the 8 1/2" side. The best part about this project is that you don't have to have precise measurements for the length. This would have still worked out great had I made a shorter strip. It's a great way to use up your scraps! I punched both ends of the strip.
- Get out your Simply Scored Scoring Tool and score twice...I scored about 3" in from each end. I say about because I counted wrong from one end. I recommend turning your piece after the first score, so that you are sure you are using the same measurement for both sides. :)
- Once you have punched and score, just embellish! And don't forget to tuck a little bag of jelly beans or other treats inside!

Retro Fresh Thanks So Much Card
Happy Friday! I think this has been the longest week ever. So let's just say that it's a good thing that Friday is here. What's even better is that the weather forecast says it's going to be 60 today. After the last few freezing cold days, I'm ready for a bit of spring.
And speaking of spring, this card brings a bit of it as well. It's the same layout as this card from a few weeks ago, just with different colors. It's amazing how different two cards of the same layout can look when you change just a few elements. In this case, I even used butterflies again, just did them a bit differently.
Tips & Tricks
- When adhering ribbon that's more than 1/4" wide, be sure to use Sticky Strip. It's a guarantee that it will hold and you won't have to worry about it falling off.
- I love the new Tag Topper punches. I also love using the corner rounder on the two corners when using the Scallop TT punch. It just softens it a bit and gives a finished look that is consistent with the rounded edges at the other end.
Stamps: Oh Hello, Papillion Potpourri
Ink: Tangerine Tango, Coastal Cabana, and Soft Suede
Paper: Retro Fresh DSP, So Saffron, Tangerine Tango, Coastal Cabana, and Soft Suede card stock
Accessories: Scallop Tag Topper Punch, Elegant Butterfly Punch, Bitty Butterfly Punch, Coastal Cabana Ruffled Ribbon
